It’s official: Vodra Token ($VDR) will be moving permanently to the Solana Blockchain from Ethereum. This guide will cover everything you need to know as an existing or future token holder.
Where is $VDR currently?
$VDR currently resides on the Ethereum Network and trades on Gate.io.

Swap Ratio: 1:1
Snapshot Time: 11pm EST, January 14th, 2025 (14/1/2025)
Swap Process: Ethereum wallet holders included in the snapshot can use our bridge to transfer Solana $VDR to their specified SOL address. The bridge location can be found here after January 17th: https://claim.vodra.io
More information about the new token can be found in our updated tokenomics here.
Holders will have 3 months to bridge their ERC20 tokens to SPL — The bridge will close after April 17th, 2025.
What will happen to the “old” Ethereum token?
After January 17th, 2025 — the old Ethereum VDR token will be replaced by 2 billion new Vodra Tokens on the Solana Blockchain.
Ethereum tokens will have all listings removed and replaced with new ones. They can be used to bridge over to the new Solana VDR at any time after the transition.
The Relaunch:
- Gate.io will freeze trading and deposits of $VDR tokens on their exchange. This will mark the end of all trading for the old token until the relaunch.
- We will be hosting a limited community presale for the new token on January 16th-17th. This will be done through a Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (fair launch) where the community can bid on a new price for the token. (Join the raffle here to participate).
- Once the sale concludes, we will be locking liquidity on Raydium, the most popular Solana decentralized exchange.
- Gate.io will resume trading, all tokens left on their exchange will automatically be switched over to the new VDR on Solana. For those using the exchange this will be a seamless transition.
How do I bridge my tokens?
There are two convenient options to bridge Ethereum VDR to Solana:
- If you keep your VDR on Gate.io, it will automatically be replaced by the new token and you can resume trading as usual.
- If you keep your tokens in a custodial wallet (a wallet that you are in control of), you will need to bridge over your tokens manually at claim.vodra.io (more info on this in the next section).
How to manually bridge VDR
- Go to claim.vodra.io after the new Solana token is released on January 17th
- Connect your wallet. You will see a list of all major supported wallets.
- Select VDR on the Ethereum network for “You pay” and VDR on the Solana network for “You receive”.
- Select “Trade and Send to Another Address” — this is because you will be sending tokens from an Ethereum address and want to receive new tokens to a Solana address.
- Carefully review all information first and when you are ready press “Confirm trade”
You will then see your ETH tokens removed and you will receive an equivalent 1:1 amount to your chosen Solana wallet.
FAQ
What happens if I don’t bridge my tokens?: Nothing, you can keep your VDR on Ethereum as long as you like. We will keep the bridge open indefinitely.
Are there fees to bridge?: There are normal network fees associated with sending an Ethereum transaction, this depends on the gas price at the time you bridge.
Why is VDR moving to Solana?: Solana is cheaper, faster, and has a better community: you can read our full explanation here.
What will be the price of the new token?: We are doing a community presale auction to determine the new Solana price. Since the Ethereum token will not long be listed anywhere, this will become the new price.
How many tokens will there be after the relaunch?: There will only ever be 2 billion VDR in circulation across either chain. As VDR on Ethereum is bridged over, it is removed from the supply and replaced 1:1 with Solana VDR.
